Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a topic area that our members have reported struggling with time and time again. Let’s face it, if you wish to sign-up with the well-paying ad networks, you need to have a certain amount of pageviews to even qualify. That’s why we are offering this short-list of resources you can use to help improve your placement in search engine results, as well as increase your pageviews. Our March theme has been about getting found. We will most likely revisit this topic in a few months, with a webinar or FB Live, as well as even more resources, so stay tuned. SEOBook
Not only does this offer a bunch of useful free downloads, it has an amazing keyword search tool that compares traffic of keywords across multiple search engines. They offer free email courses and other paid services as well.
Moz
They offers tons of resources for researching SEO. Note that there are daily limits on what they offer for free. They also are the ones who rank your DA (Domain Authority) and PA (Page Authority). SEMRush
This offers powerful SEO tools that you can use with WordPress, but there is a cost. Bloggers tend to share accounts, to lower the monthly rate.
Yoast SEO
Free WordPress Plugin that ranks your posts based on keywords, etc. There is a premium version that offers more keywords, previews, and other benefits. You may have heard that people try to work to turn their circle green. They have a system in which it shows you if your post is red, yellow or green; like a stoplight. While, it comes with its own faults, it can give you a general idea of things you can do to optimize your titles, keyword content, etc. This plugin is usually a given for most bloggers who use WordPress. They just use it in conjunction with other tools to optimize even further.
Rank Math
Free WordPress Plug-in that helps you optimize your content and rank higher based on keywords. They have a free Facebook group for SEO questions as well. You can use Yoast SEO settings.
Marketing Land
This is a category tag, but has the most up to date articles on SEO for marketing purposes. You can spend quite a bit of time sifting through them, but it can be so worth it.
Google Search Console
This is something you set-up through Google to help you optimize your content, fix errors, and make sure your posts are indexing in Google. What better tool to use than one coming from the source itself?
