Project Description
In February 2015, Bloggin’ Mamas organized and hosted a bilingual Twitter Party to promote the opening of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. We utilized the #SpongeBobMovie hashtag. In addition to Paramount/ Nickelodeon Studios, Fisher Price and MegaBloks sponsored several prizes to give away during the party.
We produced eight (8) Pre-Chat Blogposts with Social Media Amplification. The Twitter Party itself produced:
- 36,032,074 Timeline Deliveries/Impressions
- 3,012,654 Reach
- 7,652 Tweets
- 996 Tweets with Media (Pictures/ Videos)
- 514 Contributors
- 226 RSVP’s
In addition to the above, “P2 Gary” Trended in the US. P2 Gary was the correct answer to Prize Question 2 during the party. For bloggers, #SpongeBobMovie trended 4th, and remained 5th even at 11pm EST, an hour after the party ended.
