Project Description

Between January 2017 and July 2019, Bloggin’ Mamas held six (6) Bloggin’ Mamas Safety Academy events throughout the US alongside Nissan and The Allen Lewis Agency. Approximately 180 mom bloggers were invited to attend these events in total. The purpose of the event series was to provide education on proper car seat use and installation to local communities via mom bloggers. The focus was on areas with greater diversity, and especially having a Hispanic population. Each event trended locally on Twitter, including the #1 spot in Miami and the #2 spot in New York City & Chicago. The series is expected to continue on, including a stop in Orlando.

Bloggin’ Mamas assisted not only with event recruitment, but with event conceptualization and planning throughout the process of all the events. This included attending weekly planning meetings for approximately three months prior to each event. Bloggin’ Mamas also provided graphic design services for the invites and social infographs that were distributed. Additionally, Bloggin’ Mamas edited the event videos for Dallas and San Francisco; utilizing the footage shot by the videographers.
