Sun Sentinel’s South Florida Par­ent­ing, the pre­mier par­ent­ing mag­a­zine in Broward,  Miami-Dade and Palm Beach coun­ties, has a dis­tri­b­u­tion of 90,000 copies and has become an indis­pens­able source for par­ents, teach­ers and care­givers. This monthly pub­li­ca­tion is avail­able at more than 2,400 family-related  busi­nesses in the tri-county area, includ­ing day care cen­ters, pri­vate schools,  doc­tors’ offices, hos­pi­tals, libraries, book stores, muse­ums and children’s spe­cialty stores.South Florida Parenting’s con­tent includes com­pre­hen­sive infor­ma­tion  about local South Florida events and activ­i­ties for fam­i­lies, fea­tures and  insight­ful columns on par­ent­ing issues. Every issue includes an exten­sive day-by-day  cal­en­dar of events, local par­ent sup­port infor­ma­tion, great ideas for  South Florida fam­ily out­ings, prod­uct reviews, advice columns sep­a­rated by stage, local news, resource guides, health and safety infor­ma­tion, and local, national and inter­na­tional fam­ily travel des­ti­na­tions and deals.

South Florida Par­ent­ing (SFP) has cre­ated an ongo­ing part­ner­ship with Blog­gin’ Mamas. One of the part­ner­ship projects involves the South Florida Par­ent­ing Mom-Approved Panel. In addi­tion to Blog­gin’ Mamas Founder, Heather Lopez, 11 other mom blog­gers will be selected to sit on the panel and serve as Mama’Bassadors for a period of one year.
Time­frame:  May 3rd, 2015 through May 2nd, 2016

Blog­ger Responsibilities:

1.) One (1) post per month on own blog focus­ing on the topic/theme of the mag­a­zine for the month, as well as upcoming South Florida Parenting Events. We will provide content to assist blogger. (Required)
2.) For optional sponsored/blogger events, provide one (1) post in exchange for provided tickets or admissions. Social media amplification is optional, but encouraged.
3.) For optional prod­uct reviews, pro­vide a 75-word written review of the product. Review does not need to be published on own blog.
4.) Additional optional sponsored post opps will be made available and will carry different responsibilities, as per the campaign. All campaigns are opt-in.
5.) Dis­close that the posts are com­pen­sated as per FTC guide­lines. Note: Even free tickets/products are considered compensation. (Required)
6.) Com­plete a W9 form, and panelist agreement form. (Required)
7.) Display Panelist Badge on blog, which can link to blogger profile or panel page on the Sun Sentinel website.  (Required)
8.) Attend Panel meetings at the South Florida Parenting headquarters. (Optional)

7.) Pan­elists will be announced in the South Florida Par­ent­ing Mag­a­zine and all social media chan­nels,  and will have an oppor­tu­nity to pro­vide feed­back on prod­ucts, ser­vices, events, venues, etc. that are fea­tured in the magazine.

14.) Panelists may request to have their own table at the South Florida Parenting events, at no charge. However, please note that tables must be manned for the duration of the event. First-come, first-served.
15.) Panelists can make requests for assignment sheets to obtain press credentials for events that fit the content and audience of South Florida Parenting. (Assignment sheets are subject to approval, and not guaranteed to be in the print magazine.)
