Week 3 Blog Tips
So you have committed to making 2015 your year. Good for you! Now it’s time to dive right in and start making things happen. You can start with a few tips from your favorite bloggers at Bloggin’ Mamas.
Here are a few of our favorite blogging tips for the week:
This is probably the most important thing to learn as a blogger, new or old! Learning to ask for help and advice will take you far in life. Not any single person knows everything there is to know about any industry. The most successful people learn to utilize their strengths, and ask for help or advice as it relates to their weaknesses. The sooner you learn to work as a team with other bloggers, the better off you will be. After all, the better we are individually, the more seriously we are as industry professionals! Work together to be the best you can be! It’s not a competition, it’s a team effort!
Lists are so easy to write, and to read! You want your information to be as clear-cut and to the point as possible. Lists give you the most bang for your buck in a single post.
Most of the time, people are commenting on your posts because they want to read more about what you are saying. They took the time to leave you a comment or ask you a question, make sure you take the time to return the favor!
Descriptive text is important. You want your writing to create visual images in your reader’s head. However, actual images are just as important. Use them to illustrate your point, catch a readers eye, or if nothing else make sure you have a pin-able image to use on Pinterest!
This goes along with the first tip, it’s just so important to realize that it is OK to ask for help, and it is OK not to know everything. The most intelligent and successful people in the world got that way because they knew when to ask others for help.
